F2 2017, Bahrain
A race which showed exactly why Charles Leclerc was destined for great things. An early pit stop saw the Monegasque driver drop dramatically down the grid before fighting his way back with lap times and passing manoeuvres that had commentators lost for words.
Moto3 2019, San Marino
Victories don’t get any more emotional than SIC 58 rider Tatsuki Suzuki taking his maiden victory at his team’s home circuit – and, more importantly, the circuit named after the late son of his team boss. In true Moto3 form, the race was pitted with crashes, mechanical issues and nail-biting drama.
F1 2011, Canada
At over four hours long, the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix remains the longest race in Formula 1 history. With heavy rain, red flags and more carbon fibre debris than you could shake a stick at, the heroics from Jenson Button to overcome multiple incidents and even a penalty will always be a firm favourite.
MotoGP 2019, Australia
A terrible start for the reigning world champion, early drama for Ducati, last lap heartbreak for the race leader and a hometown hero on the podium – Phillip Island delivers some extraordinary races and 2019 was no exception to that rule.
